Studio Vase ID needed
Any ideas on this one? there is a partial signiture that appears to begin with a W but I can't make out the rest.

Davee - is the signature indented slightly? If so you could try rubbing a little talc or cigarette ash onto it to bring the script out a bit....

I've tried the talc trick already, its too full of glaze to decipher anything.

oh I see. Well all I can really contribute to this is to say that I don't think the form looks British.

I don't thinl its that old, good call though the green colour is definately similar to some of the Wardle glazes.

Yes, I was Davee in a very silly way. Do you have lots of children, is it a 4WD - did it work in the snow?
My car was rubbish in the snow. Him indoors however saved many fair ladies with his 4WD recently, its his hobby when it snows.

Its not mine its her indoors its a Rav 4, and yes it was very good in the snow, I have to settle for the old runabout, i've got a 10 year old Mondeo. Loads of room in the boot though for pots etc..
