A large -33.5cm diametre - wall plate by Marian Zawadski, dated 1965. Rough surface, with abstract carved design.
Re: Tilgmans (Sweden)
Figure of a boy.
Seems that OLA is his name, and YC is the decorator's monogram.
Info about Tilgman Keramik and some of its decorators.

Charity find today, thought at first it would be Laholm.
Ta for the link Naomi, could possibly be Siv Jakobsson.

Re: Tilgmans (Sweden)
Here an unusual plate by Leif Ueland. He was employed by Tilgmans only for a short time but had a very personal style. He died a few years later so his production is very limited.
Leif Ueland
Another plate from Leif Ueland during his short time at Tilgmans. Ueland didn´t die in the 50-ies, he emigrated to Canada and later returned to his native Norway there he passed on in 1994. Although it seems he gave up ceramics during his time i Canada. Further information in Swedish at http://www.signaturer.se/Sverige/LeifUeland.htm

Re: Tilgmans (Sweden)
Do not buy much pottery in charity shops now. Probably cos its a lot more difficult to find anything decent! Anyways, could not resist this lovely Tilgmans bowl at £2.99. It seems quite different from anything thing else on this thread. I find it difficult to judge the date. 1960's from the style? They closed in Sweden in 1974.
