Both are stylish pieces Dave,I agree they seem to be from the same pottery,I would be interested to see more Salter pottery

Found another the same in turquoise with different decoration but described as Scandinavian. I Don't think it's Scandi.

Looks like another example here, signed salter 66, and very similar style to the ceramic horse figurine

Just to point our that this is by Salter from Walsall not by a man called Salter Walsall
It is signed on the base; Salter 66. This relates to an English pottery that was producing artistic pots and sculptural items in this unique style in Walsall, England in the mid 1960s. Another pottery opened in Walsall in the 1980s - but this is not to be confused with the Salter Walsall production.
