Jim Matthews - Wall plaques

only one that I own is signed & dated 1983,I can find no info on JHMatthews however the seller informed me he was a  ceramic artist working in England.

The plaques are all slip molded by the look of them

two more plaques to add to my collection but no more information unfortunately

Bit Hornsea ??

I have owned this plaque for a couple of years and only just realised who made it

Despite the vintage look of this I have feeling its not - any ideas??

So like a Hornsea Clappison Muramic, even the "Cordon" pattern is evident in there.

This caught my eye, I'm assuming it's not british just by the design (though I'm almost always wrong!) The underside has no mark but an indentation and marks left from, I think, it being poured into a mould.
I can't find anything the same on searching. I think it was used under a teapot!
Can anyone help?

She measures approx 4.25 x 4" and 3/4" deep. There is no glaze on the back and it has a hole for hanging. Any help as always is really appreciated, even if its to tell me to stop buying tat :)

here is the first piece I have seen with a definite maker's mark, the M adds a little more to my Matthews theory

after all these years I finally find a piece that's marked

Furthur to your earlier message when I first bought this plaque just before Christmas, googled it but couldn't find any info or likely maker
three days ago in a not very good local collectors market I came across a letter rack clearly made by the same pottery
It had a label on the back which I wish I had photo'd but didn't and now can't remember
It was something like Matthews pottery Gomshall Mill or somewhere definitely in Surrey
I guess you already know this as you said English pottery
