I'm not a huge fan of his work but everything about that jug is lovely

Lidded stoneware jar, JH Jane Hamlyn ?
I’m just a bit puzzled by the JH mark on this as it’s different to other Jane Hamlyn pieces I’ve had.
Is it hers or someone with very similar glazing and decoration?!

Found this one yesterday. Nice glazing with a strap handle and he seems to sometimes do a curl join at the handle base.

What a terrific piece. Lovely salt glazing effects. It just about sums up the pure pleasure of collecting studio pottery. Where else would you get a beautiful unique hand made  item for such money. If you stay away from the headline potters you can collect amazing items for relatively small sums.
