Eddie & Margaret Curtis

I emailed various authors trying to get an id on this , John Mathieson who is an established potter and author of books on Raku , seems to think it is Eddie Curtis and has said he will show him pics , Eddie is currently organizing an event in oxford ,he doesn't know if he did raku , however I know his wife Maggie did , I hope it is by him .

RESULT! just got this reply from Eddie Curtis,

yes indeed it’s mine. I’ve attached some images of other works from around that time (1995ish). The piece you have is pretty unique. Exceptionally few were made like that if at all any others. Margaret continued with ‘Raku’ for some time and sold very very well. Mainly thrown dish/bowl forms with the matt surface to the rim and glazed centre. The image attached of the square plate is Margarets. A image of piece similar to this was used on a very early Potfest (1995 possibly) A3 poster.

I need to know how much you paid for yours? In an antiques centre! Well maybe that’s a step up from a boot sale......;-) LOL

The square plate at the top is Margaret's, followed by Eddies Covered Jar , Casket , Flanged Vessels and Footed Vessel

I had never heard of Eddie and Margaret Curtis until today. I bought this huge bowl at a boot and the photos just don't capture how luscious the red is. I was told it was Eddie Curtis and did a search and up popped these wonderful examples of his work on my forum site.

Please could someone help me identify the maker of this little studio pottery bowl as it has me stumped.
Stamped initials of MC, google not showing up anything.
