Well, I think this qualifies as "bad-taste kitschy fun". Another charity shop find yesterday destined for the kitchen wall. I think it's fairly contemporary and almost certainly Portugese....no markings.  It has a couple of small chips and a crack in the "seaweed" but will still display well. And I don't have problems with imperfect items.

Nice. I bet it's from Caldas Da Rainha in Portugal. I've got a crab plate with the mark "Alvaro Jose, Caldas Da Rainha, Portugal".
