is it william lowe or "fake"
hello all found this plate in my mums attick it has william lowe 1895 on the back and what looks like 2 other marks on the bottom like an o with upside down arrow and another smal mark that looks a bit like a w with squiggles
my question is it really william lowe or a fake from china it has a lot of wear and craking glase no damage though i would be gratefull for you help

I don't have a record of this as a William Lowe mark, his mark seems to have been WLL (William Lowe Longton).
A quick search shows that some people attribute the WL1895 mark above to Wong Lee or Wa Lee of China from c. 1995.
