This is a piece of German pottery that I purchased recently and I am hoping that someone could tell me a little about it.It stands 52 centimetres high and is 15 centimetres across the top.It is my first go at buying pottery and I am hoping that I have brought well.It says 'KLEIN' on the base but thats all that I know about it.Thanks.

Re: My first German pottery.
We have a Klein keramik thread , but not much in it at the moment , not a lot known about it either I'm afraid, I would say your vase would be from the 1950's or even earlier , did you buy well?, depends why you bought it I suppose and how much you paid , these types are not very sellable at the moment with collectors going for what are known as fat lava.

like Ed said, brown vases are like brown furniture at the moment but I like the vase and you should buy what you like and never follow the crowd
(in my opinion)

"from the 1950's or even earlier"
I suggest "neo-geo" from the 60s or even later.
