Tall hand painted nippon vase? or Italy maybe? Empty Tall hand painted nippon vase? or Italy maybe?

I need help identifying this piece. Its about 14" tall and hand painted in a diamond shape. It's unmarked and has me stumped. I had an early 20th ashtray from Italy that have a somewhat similar style to it, but someone also said it reminded them of a hand painted Nippon vase, she said some Nippon vases are unmarked. If anyone has any Ideas please let me know. Thanks

I think this is a Jugendstil-piece, typical form. I don't believe Nippon. The building is no japanese building, but looks like a middle european small church.
I'd say Austria or Germany. Nice piece!
