old German? vase

I have recently come across a vase that I think might have come from Germany. I am unsure though. It is about 13 inches tall and hase lion head handles. It has a very rough finish, almost like stucco. The inside is colorful also, I'm really not sure how to describe it. The bottom has one imrpession I can see and reads "11a" If anyone knows anything about this style, you help would be great! Thanks
