A very well regarded and up and coming potter situated in Lode near Cambridge. Has specialised in gorgeous celadon glazes,and has had a number of articles in CERAMIC REVIEW. Shows widely at the CPA fairs and Hatfield.

He's another of my must-haves. I got this jug from a private view at the Spiral Gallery, Settle (now closed) in 2005. I understand the iron oxide spots are very characteristic. It's such a glamorous piece, everyone who visits notices it.
14.1cm (height). Wonder if this thread should be re-filed under Studio Pottery?

Does anyone have an ID on the vase pictured please? Nicely made in porcelain with a rich red glaze. Mark is indistinct, looks like Micki Schloessingk but the vase does not look like hers.

Matthew Blakeley of of Lode near Cambridge. I have a similar one with the occluded glaze and colouring. He makes quite different work now, but this is what he did a decade or more ago.

I love this vase and have had it for yonks. I still pefer it to his more modern pieced. 30 cms high
