Old looking Wolf jug? Empty Old looking Wolf jug?

What Ho! I found this lovely little jug in a charity. I know absolutely nothing about pottery but I think it looks old? It is 3 3/4" tall, hand-painted and the Wolf and leafs are out-lined. Thanks for any help.

This jug was made in Italy, but it is difficult to be accurate exactly where, or when

Hi Baz, I did notice that Italy on the bottom!! I was looking at it upside down!!
