Unusual Pottery Horse - Chinese 610
I picked up this colourful pottery horse today, it really caught my eye, it measures 9ins in height and 8in in length, I've never seen anything like it before.
Does anyone recognise it or have any opinions about manufacturer or country of origin/date etc. I think its one of those items you either love or hate.

To me it looks like a Chinese reproduction of much earlier Chinese horse figures (similar glaze but made it a very different manner). So more "in the style of" rather than a reproduction I guess.

Just my opinion :)

Yea, the glaze is very nice :)

The main give away is the base, yet nobody can see it when on display anyway.
