anybody out there knows Herman Eberstein?

hello, hope all of you got the gifts you wanted...
I'm looking for info on an artist by the name of H. Eberstein (H. stands for Herman), the painting is framed in the original glit frame fully signed with signature and little sign in middle of lower part of the frame. I did found examples over google but no dates when eberstein was born/died, in which country, the period he worked(from-to), etc.
I'm not that interested in what's it worth because we want to keep it anyway...
I believe this example should be 1930s +- 10years?
Anyone heard of him... will appreciate every help... and please excuse my rusty english
