Danish? Törngrens pottery Empty Danish? Törngrens pottery

Post by Yesvil January 30th 2011, 5:44 pm

Hi, Just found this forum and wonder if anyone has any input on this:

I have presumed it's Danish - for what reason I'm not sure - anyone here know it's identity?

That had me wondering too. I will have to check what countries that narrows it down to.

Pip. I think it's the right way up (sort of) but here's another view.

Just had an email back from Törngrens pottery regarding the details of this one (Translation courtesy of online translator):

This vase is made around 1955-60. The numbering at the bottom saying that it belonged to a series that was out there in Sweden for sales in other gift shops. It need not be bought right here in Falkenberg. The vase is decorated by Bonni Rehnqvist who worked in the workshop for over 30 years, until 1973.
