ID Please Continental?
I'd be grateful if someone could ID this set for me. There's no maker as such, just an impressed RF over B. Thank you.

Re: ID Please Continental?
At last! Here's the base pic! It's shiny - no crazing. I don't know the difference between porcelain and earthenware with clay I'm afraid; that's where I thought you could help me. Thank you.

Re: ID Please Continental?
Hi Mal, welcome to the forum I don't think I did so when you introduced yourself.
I'll delete your double posting. I'm afraid your first picture is too big for some to see and, as Volker said, the first base picture is too small.
Please would you try our tutorial, using the thumbnail option:

Re: ID Please Continental?
THanks for your reply and for your welcome. I have followed the instructions it's just that when I "copied" for some reason it held on to the first photo! Hopefully I've rectified it now. x

Re: ID Please Continental?
Sorry, no clue,
thought of BF = Boch Freres, Belgique, but I read RF as well ,
and it aoppears to be porcelain,
BTW crazing often indicates earthenware.

The thumbnail option is best, like you did with your 'Identify this mug' post

Re: ID Please Continental?
Lol Skay, That was more luck than judgement! Thanks for the tip about earthenware Volker - I'll remember that - hopefully. So nobody thinks it's Sevres then?
