Mousehole small jug?
Is this small eartenware jug (height 10 cm) from Mousehole Pottery in Mousehole, West Cornwall and made in the first period 1955-61 by Bill and Biddy Picard?

Re: Mousehole pottery, Biddy & Bill Picard (Cornwall)
Thank you,
The mark shown in The Digital Museum of Cornish Ceramics is the one used by Greta Perry between 1978 and 1989.
I can clearly see the mouse head and the hole in the wall.

Thats interesting Naomi. I thought this pot couldn't be too old.
Unfortunately Fournier suggests this impressed mark was used in 1954 on domestic ware.

Tbh I’m not seeing a difference in the style of the pots or the mark Maybe Greta just continued where her father left off

Fantastic - thank you! That does look right, and I picked it up in Falmouth so that would make sense. Thanks again!
