I've had a pot with these marks before and never got to the bottom of it. The ST looks much like Sidney Tustins mark at Winchcombe but I have never seen anything about him working elsewhere. The Taena pottery is still going although under different ownership now, maybe they may be able to give you some info.

Here's a jug with the same pottery mark but a different potter's initials FJ. I had thought it was Taena, but not so sure now.
Re: Robert Sinclair Thomson and Florence Jamieson (not Taena Community)
Hannah McAndrew is a slipware potter living in Scotland. She might know.

I have one too! An FJ one as well. I thought it was Taena given the glossy glaze but you guys have sowed a seed of doubt in my mind!
Re: Robert Sinclair Thomson and Florence Jamieson (not Taena Community)
Here is another one to add to the collection, again in Scotland.

Re: Robert Sinclair Thomson and Florence Jamieson (not Taena Community)
I emailed pictures of my pot to Hannah McAndrew today asking if she was able to shed any light on the subject
"Hi Roy,
It's a Taena pot I think, the pottery still exists and is still making slipware. Other than that I don't know who made it I'm afraid.
I hope that you find out.
best wishes,
Hannah"

Clearly she thought the same as most of us on here. It's just a shame that the potters currently working at the Taena pottery disagree.

Re: Robert Sinclair Thomson and Florence Jamieson (not Taena Community)
Someone on Facebook (can't find out who because now I can't find the posting - it might have been deleted) posted a link to a forthcoming auction lot identifying the ST potter as (Robert) Sinclair Thomson (1915-1983) of Glasgow. He seems to be only known as a painter but the Glasgow School of Art website mentions that they have a couple of ceramic pieces by him in their collection, so presumably he was a potter too. Makes sense because so much of his work has been found in Scotland. Also, his wife, another painter, was called Florence Jamieson (born 1925), which might explain the FJ seal on the other pieces.
Do we finally have closure on a long-running mystery? If so, much gratitude to the unknown FB poster.

Interesting. If we can find the auction lot and compare the marks, then we can get closure :)

Here's the info. Unfortunately it was a couple of years ago and their online catalogue only shows two pieces of pottery by Florence. worth contacting the gallery to check the mark .

Florence Jamieson Catalogue 2015
Opening 15 Augsut 2015 3pm-4pm.
A wonderful opportunity to see a selection of her work. Florence was one of four remaining living artists chosen to provide a selection of her work for the prestigious ‘Glasgow Girls’ Kirkcudbright summer exhibition.
We are very pleased that we will also have on display some Ceramic work produced by Florence along with her husband Robert Sinclair Thomson (1915-1983) who were the first artists to open a commercial studio pottery in Glasgow after the Second World War. Throughout the 50s and 60s they worked from their house in Clouston Street producing hundreds of hand-made items such as mugs, plates and bowls.
Recognised in their own right as accomplished Scottish painters, Florence and Robert created original works of Ceramic art by using specialist freehand slip technique to apply designs to many items from small jewellery to Large Pots and wall plaques.

I've sent them an email with examples of their marks and asked for confirmation.
Florence is also on Facebook following her 2015 retrospective so I've sent her a message too.

It all seems pretty convincing! A link to the auction is here (Lot 243).
Re: Robert Sinclair Thomson and Florence Jamieson (not Taena Community)
Just received confirmation from Florence's daughter, Rebecca Thomson, that they are her parent's Marks.
Solved!

A satisfying conclusion to a long story - and two more names to add to my list of forgotten and lost Scottish potters for further research.
Re: Robert Sinclair Thomson and Florence Jamieson (not Taena Community)
Rebecca Thomson has sent me a photo of the card from the exhibition
