These photos are from a show Geoffrey Swindell had in 2002. They illustrate the work in the early years of his career 1970-76. Historically I found them fascinating.

These are from 50 years ago. He has remained remarkably consistent over the years to the small form. Yet his later work is clearly the work of a potter who has developed and changed within his own remarkable parameters

Had this one as long as I can remember. Lovely teensy bowl.

I love his older pieces

From last year. His bottles have been getting bigger in recent months. The first three are his usual size while the other four are markedly bigger.

Can’t make it to the Oxford Ceramics Fair this weekend and was very sorry to miss Geoffrey Swindell so I was very happy to find these for sale  on his website instead
