Raku glaze studio cylinder vase - Menandros Papadopolous

Tall cylinder vase with silver and raku glazes, looks to be a signature to the side in the silver glaze but I can't make it out.

Looks like the same potter as this one I had up for ID, never found out the maker, like Potty I suspect it could be continental.

For reference, Maggie Zerafa's signature looks like this, in this instance incised on the back of a huge and wonderful stoneware charger. I think it's wonderful anyway. But as you can see, nothing like your raku piece.

Finally solved this one, no wonder I couldn't read the signature - Menandros Papadopolous! Walked into a small Ceramics shop in Corfu Town on Saturday and there they were staring me in the face! Appears to be based in Athens, his face plaques are really stunning, so are the prices!

Believe Brin may have had a piece by this maker or very similar?

Anyone remember the thread?

Yes he had a charger I believe, but I couldn't find it.

Hi Brin, a vase similar to mine was around 140 Euros, but the face plaques I mentioned were 300 plus.
