Re: Please ID Comport and Saucer
Mid 19th Century.
I'm convinced they are English/British.
Most likely Coalport or Davenport in my opinion.
Don't think there Sèvres unfortunately ;)

Re: Please ID Comport and Saucer
They did mainly use numbers in that form, but I believe they also used different forms of numbering.

Re: Please ID Comport and Saucer
Ridgway is another possibility and it looks like the comport is missing a lid?

Re: Please ID Comport and Saucer
i wasn't going to get into this ID as i just know i'd get it wrong. But seeing as how most of the names i was thinking have already come up, i'll add my two penneth for what it's worth.
I too think British
Sevres in style, but not by them i'd say.
Coalport, Davenport, both good suggestions i'd agree.
It's hard to tell from the photos, but the roses look like they are transfer printed then coloured with enamels, yes? So, not of the highest quality. The gilding too, although decorative, doesn't look to be very fine so might i suggest you look further down the food chain than the names already suggested. There were many competant Staffordshire potteries of the day who were aping the style of those producing finer wares. John Ridgway for example.

Good spot on the under transfer, it does look (when a few cm from the screen ;)) like it may be colored over a slight transfer outline.
