Can anyone help ID this Red Glaze Porcelain Dog with glass eyes?
Hi
I am stuck with resarching this item. Does anyone recognize it? I was hopting it was quite old. Could it be English Victorian? Or even Japanese?? The glaze is has a slight shine to the finish and glass eyes. It measures only 4" accross and 3.5" tall.
Thanks for your help!

Reminds me very much of Bernard Moore Flambe.
But looks a little pale in the pictures than I would expect it to be, were it Moore.
He usally used glass eyes on his animals.
Are there any signs of any marking to the feet at all?

Hi Potty,
I have googled the Bernard Moore Flambe name and it doesn't have the same finish to the porcelain. This has a satin finish rather than a gloss. It doesn't have anymarks on the paws anyware, just signs of ware.
Thanks for looking
