Help ID Artist Signed American Blue and Brown Drip Glazed Vase

The piece is a great example of how a drip glaze can be applied to a piece which is then spun to cause the drip to travel sideways as well as down. It has some very lovely shades of blue and golden glaze around the mouth and this runs down into a rich earthy brown which was applied to the base before the drip. I'm not certain about the signature. It appears to say "Maribel". Any help with an ID or making out the signature would be greatly appreciated.
