large lumpy pot - swirly decoration
I found this in a dark corner of a charity shop. It's large and lumpy, exactly my favourite kind of pot
I can't find any potters stamps on it at all. It stands approx 23cm tall, rim diameter 17cm, thickness at rim 1cm and weighs an awful lot. The body fabric is coarse and beige brown with swirly abstract decoration painted in matt brown. Red/brown/green mottled glaze inside, on rim and dribbled onto parts of body.
I have no idea about it at all but I like it a lot. Any suggestions as to possible makers, or even where it might come from really appreciated.

I would guess it's home made

Thanks, I suspect that most of my favourite pots are home-made jobs.
