Handgemalt by Katrin, but for which German pottery did she work? ID please.
I bought this today at a thriftshop, here in the Netherlands. Can't figure out where it's being made. Is there anybody who knows more with the following details?
Height of sugar and milk pots is 7 cm. Length of the plate roundabout 20 cm. Depth: 12 cm. White clay.
Sugarpot has nr 4555, milkpot 4553, plate (is that the right word to use, btw?) 3011.
Katrina handgemalt, it says.

West German Black Horse & Donkey - Zell
I have had this pair for absolutely YEARS.... but can not find a blot about them... They are both Western Germany... and have come across other Schmider pieces that feature multi-coloured dots on fish and a pelican... but nada on the Horse or Donkey... so any ideas?? Mega appreciated!

Re: Zell (Schmider)
Schmider / Zell, i haven´t seen the horse before, form - number 2920 (correct ?) suggests
that the form was brought out in the late 1920s but the country origin stamp says 1950s or later. I can´t make out the form number of the donkey, 3??? and 51 ?
If the number reads 3325 it would suggest that the shape was brought out
in the early 1930s.

Re: Zell (Schmider)
Great stuff - Thank you... It is typical... I had 2 horses unto a couple of years back when I blitzed the garage and sold 1 as he had the chipped ear... and he turns out to be the more unusual one! this one is perfect though!... he stands about 6.5 inches tall!

Re: Zell (Schmider)
Horse Stamp says 3920 - Donkey much harder... starts with a 3.. poss 915 (3915).. quuite heavily glazed.. but the 51 or 15 next to it has been impressed after thus easier to read!?... make of that what you will - or indeed can!! lol

Re: Zell (Schmider)
Thank you for the numbers.
I would like to add that the country origin stamp says mid 1950s or later cos to my knowledge Western oder West - Germany wasn´t used before 1955.
