Monochrome deco
Has anyone got any ideas about this please?
17cm across, quite heavy, rather sparse brush decoration, marked "Made in England" and " W.II.V"

Re: Monochrome deco
It's certainly got the kind of solidity I'd associate with Denby or Langley, rather than Staffordshire.
I'm not sure if it's stoneware or not. The clay is a very light colour.

Re: Monochrome deco
I think it is w ii v meaning W2V (other Langley items I have seen (internet), have been named like this)
I would assume the letters/number are related to the shape/pattern/artist but in what order I would not have a clue.
