stoneware vase
Very similar in clay and glaze choice to Dartington pottery but an unfamiliar stamp??

Re: stoneware vase
I presume you've trawled Yates Owen Fournier? Save me doing it again.
Could the dots be an Umlaut?

Re: stoneware vase
I also think English, still has a strong Dartington feel to me, could be worth a email to them maybe?

Re: stoneware vase
There is a Dartington piece with a 'W' stamp on studiopottery.com, here http://www.studiopottery.com/cgi-bin/pp.cgi?item=5354 and a signed 'W' by Clare Woodall, at Dartington http://www.studiopottery.com/cgi-bin/pp.cgi?item=4781 but they're not at all similar to yours, although some of the pieces on the site do have similar glaze colours.
Maybe the e-mail idea'll work, it's worth a go

Re: stoneware vase
I think the colours of the glaze are very similar to the ones used on Petra tilly's quilt pieces .

Good spot Potty definately the same mark, interesting that you rejected the Dartington suggestion on this one though Dan.

Re: stoneware vase
the limitations of online evaluation will always be a thorn in our side on the forum,we can't get around the fact that a picture of a pot doesn't tell us everything but also a few years experience collecting Dartington pottery also doesn't tell one everything
