When I first heard about him a few years back the thought that always stuck in my mind was from the passage above -"A purchase by Bill Ismay was always thought to be a sign of approval, and was much appreciated by potters, especially those at the start of their career", I love the idea of potters longing for their work to be bought by him Most Excellent

Yes - I had mentioned her in the bit about the "pub lunch" earlier in the post so missed out Mommens the second time.

Yes, they were bought from me and were part of the collection donated to the museum by an American collector, who lives in London.

Her name would probably fit the "Porn Star names" thread elsewhere on the forum as it is Mitzi Bales but she is NOT a porn star - promise!
