Teapot & Water Jug ? Material ?
Please can ayone tell me what this teapot & water jug is made from? I'm assuming it must be earthenware of some kind as it's made in Burslem, but it is as light as a feather! When I picked it up at first I honestly thought it was plastic! I can't quite make out the ackstamp either - all I can see is ..ll & Sons Burslem England. I've found a Hall & Sons but I doubt if it's them (why, I don't know!). Thank you.

So does that mean it's circa 1900? Why on earth is it so light. I mean it's REALLY light - not as in fine like good china but LIGHT as a feather.

Probably slip-moulded with a very fine, low-density clay.
