Smooth, black vase

Another one for this evening...
About 24cm high. Feels beautifully smooth to the touch like a sea-washed stone. The glaze reminds me of stone, too - matt black glaze with patches of a thicker grey glaze, especially around the central decoration. It seems like it might be made of 2 parts which were then joined by creating the central 'squahed dot' decoration. I can't decide whether the initials are cp or CB. No other markings to the base. Thanks for any suggestions.
