Rams head vase
My wife purchased this at a resale shop and it has us stumped. We believe it's American made. Green crystalline glaze reminds us of Fulper or Stangle. Size is 8.5" long, opening is 5" wide. There are three symmetrical "chips" on the rim which I believe are pontil marks. Anyone have an idea as to the maker?

We cannot figure out how to upload pictures. When I right click on them they open in a new window.
Can't post a link because I haven't been a member for 7 days yet.
Thanks for trying to look.

big ed,
Thank you. My computer skills match my mechanical ability - there's just enough there to get myself into trouble.

Re: Rams head vase
It doesn't. It appears to have hung face down in some type of hanger.

Re: Rams head vase
I'd also call it art pottery and think it dates to the latter part of the 19th C, but could be early 20th C.

Re: Rams head vase
The chips are pretty much symmetrical and triangular. I'm guessing from where it sat when fired. The rim has a little flare that could hold it in a wire stand, but there are no wear marks or scratches on the part where it would have contacted the stand.
Is it possible it is a tankard? Glasses of old had round bottoms so they couldn't be put down. Is that what's meant by stirrup cup?
