Palissy 22, Vallauris?
Please can any of you tell me anything about this vase. It is very clearly impressed Palissy 22, but I have googled images and can't find anything like it. What date do you think it is. Will I be able to retire to a mansion in the South of France with the proceeds if I sell it!!??

I think that you might have to stay in Wales but I can't be sure, as I don't know what it is.
However, it isn't the work of Bernard Palissy, who would have come up when you "googled" and it isn't the work of the Staffordshire pottery, A.E. Jones, who used Palissy as a trade name and subsequently became Palissy Pottery Ltd. in 1946.
Maybe it is French? That is only a guess though.
