Cannot identify this unusual animal headed fat lava vase!
I have found this unusual vase, probably west german, with a lava like glaze and almost oriental style panels and animal maybe dragon heads, cannot find any similar examples online can anyone help identify it?

on the base the markings are 280 / 27 , which are also unusual as all marks are impressed apart from the 2 which is in relief, any ideas?
Thanks

Moved to Id thread ,
I cannot Id this positively , but I do Know that if you look in the Kera and Sondgen Threads it is by the same maker as these , I know that sounds strange but as none of these are positively Id'd in those threads , I have saw a few of these in various sizes and in vase and lamp base form .

thanks for the info, I'm still not sure about the marks on the base, as mine appear to be different, did they vary the style of marks used?

Yes various style of marks are used by many companies, this piece would have originally been attributed to Sondgen in the early days here , then the attributes moved to Kera , but still nothing definite , a kera stringed label has been found on a vase along with the initials WG , apparently a Walter Geerhards , who worked for both , but as I say a lot more proof is needed Kera might just be a spin off , I don't know , all i do know is that they are all made by one company , I have had so many pieces it was easy to find that connection .
