Studio piece signed LOWE
Any idea who made this nice piece, it has a fantastic lava-esque glaze which makes me think its from the 70's....
Thanks for looking.

Re: Studio piece signed LOWE
The way the base is finished, I highly doubt it it is 19th C.
Ignore this if your joking and I'm being gullible

Re: Studio piece signed LOWE
It's piece like this that are most annoying. A good, interesting pot and the potter has even bothered to put their surname but I have no idea who made it

Hi
Allan Lowe and Peter Lowe are both Aussie potters (father and son). Neither signed like this one I'm afraid.

Re: Studio piece signed LOWE
You could send some photos to an expert in case it's by John Lowe - it is a traditional form so it might be 19th Century
