W. German Id Please! vase / pot - VEB Haldensleblen

Thanks for taking a look! I am hoping someone can Id the maker and era for me. The interior is matte brown. It's approximately 4"x4.5"

I can't see the mark very well but I think it's Steuler, Ed

I was thinking Steuler too Ed, but all the marks that I've found are more angular rather than circular.
Any chance of a 'face-on' pic of the mark please Flowerhead?

I think you got it , Peter very high number though, unusual.

I thought at first it was a stylised Elster (english magpie) =

Thanks so much all! I looked for an image of the VEB Haldensleblen mark and that's it for sure. I found two vases of a similar shape and glaze treatment and mark. Can anyone tell me where I can learn more about the maker?
