Dont think its German, fully marked, ID help needed please (vase)
Hi All,
I bought this wee vase last week for penuts at the local car boot thinking it will sit well with some of my German pots. Can anyone help me with an ID, its fully marked on the base but I cant make any sense of it, the pot is approx 18cm tall.
Cheers in advance,
David

the glaze looks very similar to those used by several West German factories back in the 60's

Hello Dantheman,
Thanks for the reply, it does certainly sit well with some of my other bits, I just expected the base to have the standard marks. Is it not unusual to have a bit marked by hand rather than stamped, was there a factory where they did mark all the bits by hand. So many questions!!!!
Cheers, David

We've got a couple of these pots, one mine and one my wife's. I bought mine about 5 years ago at a boot sale, from a lady who told me that she'd bought it on holiday about 10 years ago, but I can't remember whether she said she was in Majorca, Minorca or Tenerife (but definitely one of them!).
This one is my wife's, it was a charity shop buy about a month ago, but she's not intending to keep it.
