Art pottery lamp with brown drip glaze
I would appreciate any input on the age and maker of this lamp. I don't see any markings and am afraid to take off the base to look for it. Lamp is 19 high and about 7 1/2 in diameter. Thanks,

i'm not sure you'd be able to tell for sure without seeing if there is an impressed mark on the base. If it's stuck onto something else, i don't think there's much you can do except for hunting down american art pottery collectors for their opinion.

My first thought was Fulper too, but I've seen several pots over the years that fooled me and they were all marked "BELGIUM" with no other maker's mark. I think that is likely what this is. Glazes were almost identical to some by Fulper, but the forms were generally more toward Art Nuveau.
