It is by Alan and Lyn Newton (husband and wife), who both trained at Wallasey School of Art. Alan in Ceramics and Lynn in Fine Art so, I assume, he does the throwing and she does the decorating. After Art School they moved to Sheffield to teach but moved back to the North West and have been potting there since 1986. They live in or near Chester.
