Pennine Pottery (Cumbria) Peter Lascelles.

The Pennine Pottery is near Alston, Cumbria. Peter Lascelles is the potter there and produces fine functional stoneware with carefully observed patterns based on local wildlife. Well worth a visit

The Pennine pottery is set in the North Pennines with magnificent views across the hills and moors. A Leach follower, Peter Lascelles I think is self taught and took up potting after retiring. He makes surprisingly light weight tableware (stoneware) decorated with images of wildlife.
