Pennine Pottery (Cumbria) Peter Lascelles. Pots-b10

The Pennine Pottery is near Alston, Cumbria. Peter Lascelles is the potter there and produces fine functional stoneware with carefully observed patterns based on local wildlife. Well worth a visit  Happy

The Pennine pottery is set in the North Pennines with magnificent views across the hills and moors. A Leach follower, Peter Lascelles I think is self taught and took up potting after retiring. He makes surprisingly light weight tableware (stoneware) decorated with images of wildlife.
