Re: Alan Ball, Tyne and Wear, AB mark
During 76 and 98 he was at Biddick Farm Pottery, Washington Arts Center, Fatfield, Washington, Tyne & Wear.
After 1998 he moved to 17 Biddick Lane, Fatfield, Washington, Tyne & Wear.
He used white stoneware, various forms of decoration including sgraffito, wax/paper resist, slip, inlay etc.
Yates-Owen seems to say that mark was used from 1973, but does not say for how long.

Alan Ball, Tyne and Wear.
I think this shallow double skinned bowl is raku fired. Very effective chevron design. Hope the photos do it justice.

Well done, looks right. I missed it as I was looking in the A and B marks in the back and it doesn’t seem to be there but is in the front!
I love the chevron bowls in the link. Thank you
