Arran pottery
Not sure if this is best in Studio or British pottery thread so I've chosen this one. Another charity shop find. I really like the fish decoration. I thought at first that the phone number on the base was for a mobile, but having looked up the pottery online, it appears the number is from prior to the phone number reorganisation of the late 90's as the same number still is in use but starting 01770, so it's older than I initially thought. Other than that I haven't been able to find much information of note. If anyone has any further info, I'd be interested to know more about it

History of Island Porcelain
A beautiful collection of fine hand painted porcelain pieces depicting wildlife on and around the isle of Arran.
In the early nineteen seventies Alastair Dunn began producing porcelain miniatures on Arran and the next owner, Vivienne Coulthard, Island Porcelain continues to produce a growing range of ornamental ceramic figures.
The business was sold in 2017...
