Royal Haeger Spotted Green Dish
Hello, I'm new to this site and loving it! I'm by no means a collector (I own about three pieces of pottery), but I was excited to acquire a piece of Royal Haeger pottery from an estate sale earlier this week (2 bucks--score!) I'm wondering if anyone can tell me anything about the piece I found. It's a square dish with a green interior and large black spots, and a white exterior. The bottom of the dish reads "Royal Haeger USA R 1538."
Can anyone date this piece for me? You just have to have it home by eleven ;) . I jest. But seriously, I'm especially interested in knowing what year this piece was produced. I've searched on the internet, but I can't seem to find information about it anywhere!
Without further ado, here she is! (assuming I've uploaded the pictures correctly):
Thanks in advance everybody!

Re: Royal Haeger Spotted Green Dish
Haeger potteries- In 1934, Royal Arden Hickman (1893-1969) joined the firm to design a line of artware sold under the brand name "Royal Haeger". Hickman was the chief designer from 1938-1944. Items produced during Hickman's tenure are marked "Royal Haeger by Royal Hickman U.S.A. R-###". During the 1950s, Hickman, no longer employed by Haeger Potteries, contributed designs to the company as a freelancer.

Re: Royal Haeger Spotted Green Dish
Hi Ed, thanks for the reply! That's what I thought too--1934 to 1950-ish. But I looked at the Haeger website, and apparently Royal Haeger is a brand still produced today; you can even order a Royal Haeger catalogue. So that threw me another loop in dating this piece.
