Help with German Vase?
Hello, I'm new to this site, was wondering if here I can find someone who knows about "made in Germany" vases. The markings are on bottom, say "made in Germany" arround the base and inset says X 117 then next line says G.K then next line has 2
Any help is much appreciated..

Re: Help with German Vase?
Hi, thanks for your replies, I've tried your suggestion, but I for some reason i am unable to chose a file.. Nor can I can't cut and paste the images anywhere.. Can I email the pictures to you or someone to post for me? I only have access to my I phone and no computer at the moment.

Re: Help with German Vase?
Thanks Dantheman, I tried to find some info on Gutenhalde-Keramik and viewed some pieces. Doesn't seem to look like any of the work? Any other suggestions out there? Thanks

Re: Help with German Vase?
I think the shape is fairly common , the way the "made in Germany is moulded looks similar to attributions to Kera Keramik and Soendgen Keramik , look in those threads , Dunno about the GK , there are loads of companies with Gk .

Re: Help with German Vase?
well it's more like the decoration used in the 1950's which isn't trendy atm so my guess is around the £30 mark
