Not Korean! Ideas Please..

I would love some help trying to identify this old vase of mine. Made of stoneware the colour of which is almost white, it has cut sides and is decorated with green and brown abstract glaze splashes. I think it may be old as it has age line cracks running down from the rim and has suffered a few chips as well; however I love it. The base has an impressed mark which I have been told is not Korean bit even with my limited knowledge it does not look Chinese or Japanese either. I would be most grateful for any help. From the glaze and the colour of the clay it could be Seto ware from Japan. I know that you are having problems loading images but a pic of the mark might help. (If you pm me I can give you an email to send it to if that's easier).
