Jug with owl spout identification Empty Jug with owl spout identification

Hi

I purchased this jug this morning at a local fete & was just curious about ot. I has what appears to be an owls head on the spout. It does have some damage to it.

Was just hoping someone may be able to help identify it

Cork, Edge and Malkin, Newport Pottery, Burslem 1860-71

From the diamond registration mark you can tell the date exactly, this one is

12th March 1864
