Potpourri Pots!

Is anybody familiar to these? Not sure where they are from or what they are for, at least the one with all the little holes. I was thinking it was for holding potpourri. The other looks kind of like it maybe caved in when it was fired or the handle was too short. They both have nice handpainted designs on them as well as obscure markings and are both about 8 to 9cm tall. I read in a post that "the more the better" so I am going to try to list a few pieces of pottery. Thanks in advance for your help!
