Ornate Porcelain Cherub Vase
Not exactly pottery I know but I can't find the right place to post this. Very ornate piece but despite ploughing through my book on European marks (which I think it could be), no joy. Leaning towards Italian

Re: Ornate Porcelain Cherub Vase
It's fine to post any form of 20th C ceramics in the I.D. section.
This could be before that period, but as people are usually unsure it's also fine.

According to Kovel's New Dictionary of Marks, this mark is for Ernst Bohne Sons, Rudolstadt, Thuringia, Germany, (1854-1920).

wowwwwwwwwwza I had never thought of German. Funny thing is I recently had a piece of Thuringia, obviously a different mark. Ooooo am so pleased cus I love this little piece although it's not usually something I go for, thanks so much If only I had found this site earlier, would have saved me months of my life lol
