OK , lets see ..we have two women , the taller ..maybe the mother with one red boob and a musical instrument , the other with two red boobs freeing two doves up towards the moon , symbolic of what i don't know ,so I guess Chinese export to Spain /portugal etc ......well you did say a bad idea was ok Rita Laughter

I don't think it's a bad idea at all. I was suspecting it could be chinese, but at the same time it has a mid-century look...

It's in fact a very dark brown, not black.
What made me suspect it was chinese, apart from the base, was the weight. It's very light.
