celedon (?) mystery lamp ??

hand thrown with two pieces with cap on double-bubble base, celadon glaze (I think?), hand turned custom-made wood base in beautiful mystery wood, drilled-through mystery signature on base, strong Japanese look to me but I keep thinking Danish as well. Any thoughts at all would be super appreciated. If you have a thought, or have a suggestion of where I could chase this down, please leave post!

In your large picture there seems to be a line running vertically down the side. If that is correct it would have been a moulded item rather than thrown. It has certainly been converted into a lamp post production, as the hole in the base is rough around the edges. Looks like a spirit bottle and cup that has been converted to me. Probably Chinese, possibly from elsewhere in S.E. Asia.
